In a recent essay by a distinguished statistics expert at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer center the true nature of Cancer research was exposed. In the exhausting fight against cancer there ought to be no limitations on the victims' access to treatment or information that may give them a chance at getting out of the trenches. Battle-weary patients and their families continue to seek ways that they can beat the odds and be "cured" from malignancy. Unfortunately, the cancer industry hasn't seen fit to make information from studies available to the public. Instead of the obviously altruistic sharing of data that might save a few from the gaping maw of cancer, researchers have concocted lame excuse after fractured conclusion to deny access to potentially life-saving truth. The trials on drugs, outcomes and patient experiences have been intentionally squelched for reasons that can only be defined as "self-seeking." When money, prestige and position become more important than human lives there's only one profession that comes to mind. It's not cancer research.
Keep your eyes on the prize. Cancer researchers are often kind and loving people. Those who deny access to their work ought to be identified and held accountable for their decisions. If they are restricted from releasing their data because of corporate policy, that corporation ought to be exposed for their institutional illness. The only cure for cancer is to treat the whole system. That would have to include the highest echelons of academia and industrial medical science. Good science relies on open communication and collegial interaction. The love of money is the root of all evil. As old as the maxim is the oldest known profession. They fit like a "hand-in-a-glove." Consider who holds the keys to your fate. It is not the cancer industry but the One who can defeat evil and the root of it. Continue to trust Him and your chances for "cure" will be vastly improved.
