Is Longer Lifespan A Good Thing?
The news out just yesterday is that the average lifespan has risen to 77.6 years.? That's a whopping 2 more years since 1990.? This trend will almost certainly continue over the next century.? The question I feel needs to be asked is "Is a longer lifespan always a good thing?"? If it's your lifespan I think you can easily say "Yes!"? The question arises only when we consider the chronically ill and people who have extremely low quality of life.? Each individual needs to decide for themselves how their extended lifespan will play out.? Living healthfully and purposefully can make all the difference.
?
Our team created the Better Body Brighter Mind System to personalize health improvement plans using computerized artificial intelligence.? Our system is just one way to motivate and educate.? The foundation of long and healthy living is motion.? Exercise is clearly the most important anti-aging ingredient in any program.? Because it's so important and needs to be done throughout the lifespan it should be efficient and produce results that are predictable.? Another important key is that it can be done with little or no equipment if necessary.? I actually prefer body-weight? exercise.? I believe that our bodies were designed to function at their peak resisting our own weight against gravity.? Our e-books on exercise have simple at-home programs that can be done by nearly anyone.? Find them at http://www.centeru.com/online_store/?page=shop/flypage&product_id=24&.? These are by no means the only answer but we've done the homework and they're super-efficient at getting the job done in less than 30 minutes a day.?
?
At www.betterbodybrightermind.com you can personalize a health improvement program to meet all your needs for eating, supplementation and exercise.? The word of the day is control!? If you don't control your health you'll wind up?dragging a sickly body around until you finally succumb to degenerative disease.? On the other hand, with modern technology and intentional health choices you can be vibrant, active and happy well into your eighties and, yes, you heard it here first, your nineties.?
?
In the medical field we often talk about patients in a sort of code.? Instead of saying heart attack we say "M.I."? When people slowly wither away from neglect we call it the "dwindles."? In other words, when asked what is wrong with the patient in the emergency room one doctor might tell another that Mrs. X has the "dwindles!"? That is definitely not the best choice for anyone.? It's now possible to live well all the days of your life and fall asleep one night never to awaken again without prolonged illness or disability.? The promise is real.? Many people will ignore the opportunity and pay dearly for it in their older years.? The well-informed health-seeker will almost always benefit?many times over from the effort they invest in staying fit and strong.
?
Some simple keys to living a long and full life:
1. Maintain an attitude of gratitude at all times
2. Make an effort to move your body as much and as often as possible
3. Eat fresh natural food
4. Eat when you're hungry and stop when you're not
5. Break the rules once-in-a-while
6. Rest when you're tired no matter what anyone else says
7. Love the people God has put in your life.? Pursue them!?
?
?
You've definitely heard it said that nobody ever ends their life saying "I wish I'd spent more time at the office!"? I think that's true.? If we get to live longer and better lives we should spend them wisely.? Invest your time in loving the people around you and you'll increase your lifespan and your "LOVESPAN!"
